Scott Aldrich

Scott is from North Carolina, graduated from N.C. State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management. He is a member of the Florida Recreation & Parks Association, the National Recreation & Parks Association, the Florida Festivals & Events Association, and is a Certified Parks & Recreation Professional. Prior to his role in Tavares, he worked in Orlando for the Central Florida Sports Commission as the Lake County Sports Marketing Manager, and in Cabarrus County, NC in their Convention & Visitors Bureau Sales Department. He has been with the City of Tavares since 2008, first serving in the role of Community Services Manager for 12 years and promoted to Community Services Director in July of 2020.
