Annual Director's Summit
The 2026 Agency Summit in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens — an exclusive leadership experience designed specifically for parks and recreation directors and assistant directors. This year’s Summit blends strategic workforce development, accessibility leadership, and forward-thinking facility innovation into two dynamic days of learning and connection. Participants will explore the implementation of FRPA’s Career Map through real-world beta agency case studies, dive into complex ADA operational challenges with national expert John McGovern, and experience behind-the-scenes tours of cutting-edge venues, including TGL presented by SoFi at SoFi Center, Cressey Sports Performance, the newly modernized Burns Road Community Center, and The Nest Par 3 signature facility. This six-part session will discuss operational issues and flavor each with the federal regulation, state and federal design standards, court decisions, settlement agreements, and success stories from Florida and elsewhere relative to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). |
