Florida's new athletic coach fingerprinting law (Chapter 2026-114) is changing how background screenings for athletic coaches, assistant coaches, referees, umpires, and other covered individuals will be conducted. As implementation continues, agencies, leagues, and independent sanctioning authorities are working to understand the requirements, timelines, and operational impacts associated with participation in the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Clearinghouse.
Join representatives from AHCA an interactive discussion on the new Clearinghouse process, registration requirements, fingerprint retention, eligibility determinations, and the changes in the current processes.
