Florida’s parks thrive because of the professionals who care for them — and the FRPA Park Management Institute is where those leaders come to learn, connect, and grow. Designed for mid- to senior-level park and natural resource professionals, this immersive program dives into topics that matter most to your work. Each year brings a new location, new perspectives, and new opportunities to explore innovative practices in park management while building relationships with peers from across the state.

Sessions include: Pompano Beach - Park Review, Why & How to Prune Trees for Longevity and Safety, Broward Parks Tour, The Inclusive Nature of Rope Playgrounds, Park Maintenance 101, Truly Tropical Trees for Zone 11 – Treasures of the Caribbean, We Wanted Turf, We Got Surf...Drainaggedon, Smooth Transitions (field lips), The Power of CSOs in Parks, Right Tree Right Place: Strategic Species Selection for Sustainable Parks, Branching Out: Basic Tree Trimming Skills for Parks People, Cultivating Community:  Initiatives that benefit the Environment, and more!

Meals will include breakfast on March 12 & 13 and lunch on March 12.
