Playground Maintenance Course- West Melbourne

The National Recreation and Park Association's Playground Maintenance Course is a one-day (6.25 hour) educational course that provides participants with an understanding of basic playground hazards, applying safe maintenance practices on equipment, identifying surfacing types and proper maintenance procedures, and establishing proper record keeping practices. Participants receive a certificate upon completion of the Playground Maintenance Course. Please be advised this is not an Inspector Certification.

Class Size: Limited Spaces. Registration is first come, first served. Registrations will not be accepted without payment. Individual spaces will not be held until payment is received.
Cancellation/Substitution/Accommodations Policies
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by April 22, 2025 in order to receive a refund of the registration fee less $75 for manuals plus a $125 service charge.
• No refunds will be granted if request is received after April 22, 2025
• Substitutions for those unable to attend will be allowed, it’s the original registrant’s responsibility to provide their replacement with the mailed course materials. Substitutions must receive prior approval from FRPA and must be at least one week in advance of the course
• Any accommodation requests must be placed in writing to the FRPA offices before April 18, 2025
